Vijay Deverakonda, an actor, has reacted to the recent social media trend of boycotting various Bollywood films. In a recent interview, Vijay replied, “Kaun rokenge dekh lenge when asked if the trend will affect his forthcoming film Liger. ‘#BoycottLigerMovie’ began trending on Twitter days before the film’s release.
Boycotts have recently been called for Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan, and Hrithik Roshan’s forthcoming flick Vikram Vedha. The tendency has had an impact on the box office performance of numerous recent films.
Vijay further stated that it is unfortunate that films and actresses must face the brunt of the criticism. He has also stated that he is confident that people would enjoy him and Liger because they worked so hard to make the picture.
The actor also discussed his personal problems and professional obstacles, as well as how he overcame them.
News organisation “With Liger, we expected a little of drama…but we’ll fight,” Vijay said on Monday, according to ANI. We put our hearts and souls into producing this film.
And I believe I’m accurate. I don’t believe there is any place for dread; when I had nothing, I didn’t fear, and now that I have something, I don’t believe there is any need for fear.Maa ka aashirwaad, Logon ka pyaar, Bhagwaan ka haath, andar aag, Kaun rokenge dekh lenge
“I think that life has taught me to be a warrior,” Vijay stated of his challenges. I had to struggle for respect and money when I was younger…later, I had to fight for my place in the profession and even acquire employment.
Every film seemed like a battle to me. We couldn’t find a producer to fund my first film, so I did it for free, and we had to gather money to cover production costs.
I was a nobody in the industry at the time. When my third picture, Arjun Reddy, was ready to be released, we experienced opposition even before it entered the theatres. But it was a box office success, and now people recognise me because of my role in the film.”
Liger, a sports drama, will hit theatres on August 25. Vijay makes his Hindi feature debut, and Ananya makes her maiden multi-lingual appearance. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, among other languages.
